The BedStuy Film Festival has been covered on cable news outlet NY1, WFMG NBC (Ohio), HipHopWired.com, thesource.com, WFMZ.com, mixsessionsdj.com, artstylemanila.com, businessinsider.com, blackfilmspace.com, and many other media outlets, blogs, and podcasts.

The last BedStuy Film Festival was entirely virtual but enjoyed over 6,000 unique visitors.

Creatives who embody the eclectic, diverse and evolving spirit of BedStuy, as well as panel discussion focusing on the DNA of filmmaking, from screenwriting and indie film production to funding acquisition.

Submissions for the 2023 BSFF will begin on June 1, 2023.  Categories are 1) Short Film 2) Documentary 3) Feature Film and 4) Episodic Content. The submission fee is $100.

Festival entries should be submitted via Vimeo.com with a password protected link to be submitted to whatsup@bedstuyfilmfestival.com with the title in the subject header along with a one-page biography and social media information as well.
